Since I first moved to New York, one thing has remained the same… Soho is my favorite neighborhood. There’s something about the atmosphere there that always reminds me why I fell in love with New York in the first place. So naturally when people ask for suggestions, I always tell them to visit Soho! Keep reading to find out why. (more…)
I’ve been wanting to try out the sleeveless coat/ long vest trend for months and finally got the opportunity to do so! Although it’s almost January, the weather this winter has been so mild, I’ve had the chance to wear mine a few times already and I plan to keep wearing this trend into the spring.
The key to wearing this trend in my opinion is to pair it with something a little more streamline (so no big flared skirts or dresses). Personally I would stick to wearing either jeans or leggings with this trend as that seems to look the best!
I think the exact one I got is sold out now but here are a few other ones that are equally as cute (and affordable) from Boohoo.com:
My favorite part of Fall is when the weather is cool enough to wear Fall clothes but warm enough that you can skip the jacket. I’ve been wanting to wear a button front skirt for months, but couldn’t decide on the perfect one until a recent shopping trip to Urban Outfitters. Their button front skirt game was super STRONG so I had a ton of different options to choose from. I ended up getting the BDG Twill Button Front A-Line Skirt in the shade mustard.
The holidays are just around the corner, which means engagement season is too! If you’re hoping that he “puts a ring on it”, now is the time to start prepping. Once you are newly engaged you’re gonna be eager to show everyone that first “selfie” of your new engagement ring! While the ring takes center stage on your hand, with its pristine band and glistening diamond; presenting your ring to others for the first time requires the whole hand to be on point! Keep reading for some tips on how to present your ring in the best light.
Summer might be gone but that doesn’t mean you have to pack away your bright colors as well. As we head towards autumn and eventually winter, adding pops of vibrant color is one way to still keep your outfits crisp and fresh. The great thing about bright colors is that they can be blended with white fashion items so that the outfit doesn’t become overwhelming. Keep reading to learn my three tips on keeping your outfit bright and colorful for Fall.
With warmer weather on the rise, festival season has arrived! There are countless numbers of fashionable outfits to wear to festivals. This super chic fringe skirt, with a flowy off the shoulder top, a statement necklace, sunglasses, and sandels is a perfect 70s inspired outfit for a festival.
High waisted jean shorts are still a summer staple and are a go to for any festival. To bring the look together, try pairing the outfit with a classic kimono, a crop top, and cute booties! For the sun, the prefect sun hat and sunglasses will do the trick. A trendy bib necklace and rings, with a small cross body bag will complete the fashionable festival outfit.
For a simple outfit a boho dress, trendy gladiator sandals, sunglasses, and a statement necklace is the way to go for a comfortable, but still fashionable outfit.
Spring is here; with that being said you may have a bunch of wedding invites requesting your attendance. Although weddings may be fun, finding an outfit is the tricky part! Pastels are known for spring, but being fresh and vibrant is also the way to go.
A chic pastel collar dress with classic pumps is perfect for a semi- formal wedding! Pair it with simple earrings and a bracelet, along with a small clutch to pull the perfect spring wedding outfit together.
If you are going to a more formal spring wedding a longer fitting pastel dress with stylish heels is perfect. To make your outfit a little more fashionable wear a chunky statement necklace, simple ring, and clutch to match the whole outfit!
Wearing a dress to a spring wedding does not have to be your only option. Try something completely different! A jumper can be worn to a spring wedding if you dress it up elegantly. Tie the whole look together with a heeled sandal, an embellished clutch, paired with stud earrings and a ring.
Today is officially the first day of spring and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that spring has finally arrived than by going to a weekend brunch! After finding the best location to brunch at (if you’re in NYC you should check out this place), it’s time to find the perfect outfit! Brunch is all about being casual and comfortable, but still chic and fashionable! For the spring, light and pastel colors are perfect to wear to brunch.
A Diane Von Furstenberg daytime wrap dress is the perfect example of a dress to wear to a spring brunch. Paired with casual heels or sleek boots, this style dress is figure flattering and forgiving. To pull this chic look together add a small clutch and stud earrings!
This second outfit is perfect for those chilly spring days. Wear wide leg pants paired with a simple shirt and light weight boyfriend trench coat to stay warm and cozy while brunching. Tie the whole look together with chunky heels and a small statement bag.

Keeping things festive yet work appropriate at the annual office holiday party can be difficult, but it’s totally do able! The best bet is to wear a work appropriate ensemble with fun and decorative details.
Try wearing a holiday color such as red, green, or metallic in a still work appropriate silhouette like in this first look. This look pairs a classic work shift dress in a holiday color with a glitzy necklace and bag for a subtle holiday look.
This second look takes another classic work silhouette (the pencil skirt and blazer) in holiday colors as well. Paired with cute booties, bow details, and a bright lip this outfit is perfect for a day or night holiday party.
